The reason why antique Persian Kirman Rugs are so expensive is because cotton is more finer than wool and it takes a longer time to weave than a wool rug that is 100% wool fabric. The rugs that are not as expensive are the nomadic type rugs or tribal rugs. These type of rugs are made from 100% wool.
